Testors Flat Olive Enamel Paint TES1165 is a 1/4 fl oz oil-based hobby paint that creates a realistic olive-green finish with a flat, non-reflective appearance. Also referred to as Flat Olive Drab or Flat Army Olive, this colour is especially suited to military vehicles, tanks, aircraft, figures, uniforms, model railroads, terrain, dioramas, equipment, and other projects that require a subdued military-style green.
The compact 7.4–7.5 mL glass bottle supports controlled brush painting on vehicle panels, tank hulls, aircraft components, interior details, figure uniforms, equipment, raised features, trim lines, terrain pieces, accessories, and touch-up areas. The flat finish helps reduce shine for a more realistic scale-model appearance.
Testors’ all-purpose enamel formula is fast drying, easy to apply, and uses finely ground pigments for smooth flow and dependable coverage. Colour is controlled from batch to batch, and the bottle is designed to match the related Testors 2465 Olive Drab aerosol spray colour. The enamel covers well, blends with compatible Testors colours, and is designed to resist blushing and fading.
Stir thoroughly before use. Apply thin, even coats to a clean, dry compatible surface. The paint may be brushed directly from the bottle or airbrushed after thinning with compatible enamel thinner. It dries to the touch in approximately one hour. Clean suitable brushes and tools with Testors #1148 Enamel Thinner. The jar does not accept a standard airbrush lid.
Testors Flat Olive can be used on compatible ceramic, plastic, leather, stone, metal, Styrofoam, wax, glass, paper, fabric, and wood. It is not recommended for vinyl, polyethylene, or polypropylene plastics. This lead-free enamel is highly flammable and toxic; use only in a well-ventilated area and keep away from heat, sparks, and open flames.
