Testors Gloss Red Enamel Paint TES1103 is a 1/4 oz oil-based hobby paint designed to give models, miniatures, and detailed creative projects a rich red gloss finish. The high-shine red colour is ideal for model cars, motorcycles, aircraft markings, ship details, model rockets, robots, racing stripes, miniature accessories, decorative trim, figures, and custom craft work.
The compact 7.4 mL glass bottle is well suited to controlled brush painting on small parts, raised details, fine trim, wheels, engines, body panels, and touch-up areas. Testors Gloss Red enamel is fast drying, easy to apply, and formulated with finely ground pigments for smooth flow and dependable coverage. It can be blended with compatible Testors enamel colours for customized shades and finishing effects.
Stir thoroughly before use to distribute the pigment evenly. Apply thin, even coats to a clean, dry compatible surface, allowing adequate drying time between coats. The paint dries to the touch in about one hour and requires approximately 48 hours to cure completely. It can be applied with a brush or airbrushed after thinning with Testors #8824 or #8825A Enamel Airbrushing Thinner. For gloss colours, Testors recommends a starting ratio of three parts paint to two parts thinner.
Testors Gloss Red Enamel Paint can be used on compatible ceramic, plastic, leather, stone, metal, Styrofoam, wax, glass, paper, fabric, and wood surfaces. It is not recommended for vinyl, polyethylene, or polypropylene plastics. This lead-free enamel is flammable and toxic; use in a well-ventilated work area and keep away from heat, sparks, and open flames.
