Testors Gloss Sand Beige Enamel Paint TES1118 is a 1/4 fl oz oil-based hobby paint that creates a warm sand-beige finish with a smooth gloss sheen. The neutral beige and tan colour is a useful choice for military vehicles, desert scenes, model buildings, dioramas, scale cars, aircraft, railway layouts, miniature furniture, figures, terrain elements, and restoration-style custom projects.
The compact 7.4 mL glass bottle is designed for controlled brush painting on small parts, model panels, trim, interiors, accessories, raised details, terrain features, and touch-up areas. Testors’ fast-drying enamel formula uses finely ground pigments to provide smooth flow and dependable coverage. Its batch-controlled colour is made to match the corresponding Testors aerosol spray colour, helping maintain a consistent finish when combining brush-applied and spray-applied paintwork.
Stir thoroughly before use to distribute pigment evenly. Apply thin, even coats to a clean, dry compatible surface, allowing each layer to dry before applying the next. The paint can be brushed directly from the bottle or airbrushed after thinning with Testors #8824 or #8825A Enamel Airbrushing Thinner. For gloss enamel colours, begin with three parts paint to two parts thinner and adjust after testing on a spare surface.
Testors Gloss Sand Beige enamel is suitable for compatible plastic models and household or craft materials including stone, metal, Styrofoam, wax, glass, paper, fabric, and wood. It is lead free and requires approximately 48 hours to fully cure. Use only in a well-ventilated workspace, keep it away from heat, sparks, and open flames, and follow all package safety directions.
