The copper colour is useful for recreating pipes, fittings, wiring, engine details, exhaust components, machinery, steampunk accessories, decorative trim, model railroad elements, figures, and custom automotive details.
This oil-based enamel paint comes in Testors’ compact glass bottle and is designed for brush application, making it well suited to controlled painting on small components and intricate surfaces. The metallic copper finish can be used as a standalone colour or combined with other compatible enamel paints to create customized weathering, aged-metal, and mechanical effects.
Apply the paint in thin, even coats on a clean, dry, compatible surface. Stir thoroughly before use to distribute metallic pigments evenly. For airbrush work, thin only with a compatible enamel thinner and test the mixture before spraying your project. Allow adequate drying time between coats and approximately 48 hours for full curing before handling.
