Testors Semi-Gloss Black Enamel Paint TES1139 is a 1/4 fl oz oil-based hobby paint that provides a deep black finish with a balanced semi-gloss sheen. It is a practical choice when a model or craft project needs more reflectivity than flat black but less shine than a full gloss finish. Use it for scale model cars, military vehicles, aircraft, ships, model railroads, engines, wheels, chassis parts, interior details, trim, robots, miniatures, dioramas, and custom hobby projects.
The compact 7.4 mL glass bottle is designed for precise brush painting on small parts, raised features, edges, mechanical components, body panels, accessories, and touch-up areas. The fast-drying enamel formula uses finely ground pigments to provide smooth flow and dependable coverage. Colour is controlled between batches, and the bottle shade is designed to match its corresponding Testors aerosol spray colour.
Stir thoroughly before use and apply thin, even coats to a clean, dry compatible surface. The paint can be brushed directly from the bottle or used in an airbrush after thinning with compatible enamel thinner. It blends with other compatible enamel colours, resists blushing and fading, and cures to a solid protective layer on painted parts. Note that the bottle does not accept a standard airbrush lid.
Testors Semi-Gloss Black can be used on compatible ceramic, plastic, leather, stone, metal, Styrofoam, wax, glass, paper, fabric, and wood. It is not recommended for vinyl, polyethylene, or polypropylene plastics. Allow approximately 48 hours for complete cure. This lead-free paint is flammable and toxic; use it only in a well-ventilated workspace and keep it away from heat, sparks, and open flames.
